I appreciate all the hard work you put into this. I quit using Twitter when Elon bought it. I’m really enjoying Bluesky so far. It reminds me of the good old days of Twitter.

Thank you for such excellent and timely information, but I’d expect nothing less from you, Rachel. 😉 I have deactivated and reactivated my X account twice. Can you tell I’m torn? You make a good case for keeping it. I still have a number of followers that I’d hate to lose in case The Onion buys it. You never know.

Aw thank you, Linda! Maybe, for a lot of us who connected on Twitter, Bluesky feels easy. Now the new evil landlord has jacked the rent and invited his buddies. There’s an ick factor with X.

Holy moly, Rachel, this post is super helpful. Thank you, thank you. I disengaged from X, although I left my account open. Because of where I'm at in my writing life, I'm not adding any new social media platforms, including Bluesky. For now, I'm using Substack Notes as a Twitter substitute. Maybe in a future post, you can comment on that?

Hi Karen! Thank you so much.

Yes, absolutely. The growth of Notes here has been really helpful for so many writers. I also like that Substack is indexed by Google. Will research and write about it. thank you!
